Dear Dr Whats chance of survival of patient undergone surgery for Giant cell tumor (knee joint) who already undergone surgery
Expert answer
The prognosis is very good for those that have undergone surgery with a <5% chance of recurrence for those with early stage disease. 5 year survival depends on what stage their disease is in but typically ranges around 91% for those with early stage disease.
