I had a tumor in my right arm removed. The biopsy said cellular schwannoma. I have a osteoma in my forehead and a ganglieon in my left wrist. The doctors did a physical check and said not to worry seeing my biopsy report. No histochemical analysis was done on the tumor. Is it ok or should i have any more tests? I had only an mri of my right arm, thanks

Expert answer

Hi,
I think you will be fine if no cancer was found at the surgical margins or on your scans. You will need to be checked periodically to be sure that no other areas of cancer are found.
Take care & thanks for your question!
