I hava a rash on my legs, arms and tourso. Do you think that this means my Cancer is back?
Asked June 5, 2010
I was dx w/IIIC OVCA in Aug 2009. I underwent a complete hysterectomy w/suboptimial debulking, and then had 8 treatments of Carboplatin/Taxotere. On May 7th I was told that my PET scan read NED and my CA125 was 9. Since then my CA125 has risen to 295 and I hava a rash on my legs, arms and tourso. Do you think that this means my Cancer is back? Please advise. Thank you.
Expert answer
Hi, It sounds like your cancer is trying to come back. You may need PET/CT Scan again to see if there is any detectable disease on the scan. There is the possibility that it may be present in the blood only and not on the scans - good luck & keep us updated.
