What are the best natural remedies that help kill cancer cells?
Expert answer
Hi, your question is a good one but it is quite extensive in its answer. For the sake of brevity I will simply state that it depends on the type of cancer as no "one size fits all" solution is available. Also consider that many of the therapeutic agents that we use today come from a variety of natural sources. For example the drug Taxol comes from the needles of the Pacific Yew. Vincristine comes from the periwinkle flower. MD Anderson is studying a drug derived from the Oleander plant. The most recent drug for breast cancer Havelin comes from the sea sponge. Arsenic is used to treat certain types of acute leukemias. The blood thinner Rifludan comes from Leech Saliva to help patients with blood clots. Even aspirin was found from the willow bark - which is active against cancer. As you can see the "active ingredient" is mainly what matters in any natural source that provides a therapeutic benefit. Hope this helps!
