In June of last year I was diagnosed with late stage 3 medullary thyroid cancer, in July I had modified radical neck dissection and afterwards found that the cancer was outside of margins, had spread to my lymph nodes and was now stage 4. Was referred to a great hospital in the city and while looking to do more surgery we found out that within the past 6 months the cancer had already spread to my liver. At this point the only option was to start clinical treatment and in Jan of this year I started XL184.
