I'm scheduled for a consutation with Moffitt in Tampa Fl after being diagnosed with Liver tumors and all they can do is give me treatment of chemo to shrink the tumors. My appt isn't till March 29th. Won't the tumors grow and make me not able to get treatment? I'm scared and can't get anthing earlier then the end of march.

Hi, tumors in the liver can still respond to chemotherapy very well. It depends on where the primary cancer started - was it in the liver to begin with or did it spread to the liver. Dont give up and be sure to find out what type of cancer it is that they are treating. Keep us updated in the process and take care!
