Choosing prosthetics, wigs & accessories: what to know
These providers offer wigs and head coverings for hair loss, breast prostheses and post-mastectomy bras, and other prosthetics and medical supplies.
Some insurance plans cover a wig when it is prescribed as a "cranial prosthesis", and breast prostheses after mastectomy are often covered. Ask your doctor for a prescription and check with your plan first.
