  • It's the word everyone fears and the diagnosis that no one wants to experience: Cancer. Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment or in the survivorship phase of your journey, you very likely are experiencing powerful emotions regarding your illness. It's natural and quite normal to feel overwhelmed, carry a sense of loss, feel isolated, experience sadness and feel unprepared for what lay ahead. Having a place to explore your feelings that is free of judgment can be very healing and can help get you back on track in your life.
Each of us will have a different cancer experience but there are some commonalities that all who have received a cancer diagnosis share. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I feel uniquely qualified to act as a guide, witness and support to you in your cancer journey.
I primarily work with cancer patients and survivors, as well as those impacted by a cancer diagnosis such as spouses and caregivers. In addition, I offer counseling to previvors/BRCA carriers who wish to discuss the emotional impact of prophylactic surgeries to reduce risk.
