  • The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii is a public interest, not-for-profit law firm whose mission is to achieve fairness and justice through legal advocacy, outreach and education for those in need. Established in 1950, Legal Aid has ten offices statewide, and over 90 staff members (attorneys, paralegals, and administrative personnel) all dedicated to achieving Legal Aid’s vision of “Building a Just Society.” Legal Aid responds to inquiries from approximately 20,000 individuals each year, and an estimated annual total 9,500 of those individuals receive legal services ranging from advice and counsel to full representation.
