The Visiting Nurse Service of New York is the largest not-for-profit home health care organization in the country. There are other organizations with the words "visiting nurse" in their name, but each one operates separately from the other. There is only one Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Who are we? We’re 15,300 dedicated employees. We’re 2,600 nurses, with an average of 13 years experience in the field. We’re 520 rehabilitation therapists (physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists), more than 8,710 home health aides, 575 social workers, and 130 other clinical professionals.
