Know Cancer

National nonprofit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones and the bereaved. CancerCare's programs - including counseling, education, and practical help - are provided by professional oncology social workers and are completely free of charge. CancerCare also provides limited financial grants to eligible individuals and families for transportation, home care, child care and pain medication. Assistance is also provided for breast cancer patients who need help with the costs of oral medications and lymphedema supplies.
